Dr. Jamie Nuwer, MD
Dr. Jamie Nuwer, MD received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stanford University in 2002. She then went on to get her MD from UCLA in 2007. She ascertained her diplomat from the American Board of Family Medicine in 2010.
After practicing medicine for 11 years, Dr. Nuwer realized that typical Western Medicine doesn’t have good solutions to treat Neuropathy patients. She found it very bizarre that the common medical treatments for Neuropathy are antidepressants and antiseizure medications, which have side effects that can make balance difficulties even worse. Dr. Nuwer is glad to be a part of NeuroSolutions, which provides care that gets great results by addressing the cause of patients’ neuropathies.
In her spare time, Dr. Nuwer enjoys coaching the Stanford Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team and playing with her dog Montana.
